The Best of St. Thomas

Take in some of the most breathtaking sights that the Caribbean
has to offer during the Best of St. Thomas tour. From shipside, you
will be driven along Skyline Drive and treated to the magnificent
views of St. John, the British Virgin Islands, Mahogany Run
championship golf course and the pretty, historical harbor of
Charlotte Amalie nestling 300 feet below.
Mountain Top, home of the world famous banana daiquiri, is next,
boasting the fabulous view of Magen's Bay Beach, rated
one of the top ten beaches in the world by The National
Geographic Society.
Just a short drive from Mountain Top you will visit the Estate St.
Peter Great House. The Estate was formerly a private
hideaway of the super rich but now is open for visitors to stroll
through its gardens, view classic Caribbean architecture and
native stonework, and photograph panoramic views of over twenty
other Virgin Islands from an observation deck 1,000 feet
above the ocean whilst enjoying a complimentary drink.
Descending the 1,000 feet from The Estate of St. Peter Great
House, you will be driven to the busy picturesque town of
Charlotte Amalie and have your choice of disembarking here for
shopping or carrying on back to your ship.
St. John Island Tour
Departing via tour boat to St. John, known as the "Emerald of the
Caribbean", you'll arrive in the charming town of Cruz Bay,
where you will board an open-air safari bus for a scenic drive
around this beautiful island. Along the way, your driver/guide
will provide insights about the island's rich history, lush, tropical
foliage and its indigenous wildlife.
In addition to seeing the white-sand beaches and views of the
British Virgin Islands, you'll see remnants of ruins from one of the
last working plantations found on St. John. Back along the coast,
you'll stop at scenic overlooks such as Cinnamon Bay, Trunk Bay,
Hawksnest Bay and Caneel Bay, overlooking the famous
Rockefeller Plantation. The tour concludes at the dock in the quaint
town of Cruz Bay, where you'll board your tour boat for the return
journey to St. Thomas and your ship.

Catamaran Sailing & Snorkeling Tour

The highlight of your cruise will be experiencing the thrill of sailing
on the fabulous 65 , "Castaway Girl" catamaran, to Ship
Wreck Cove, in the famous Marine Park, Buck Island. The
Castaway Girl is fast and very stable, having spacious sunbathing
decks and a large comfortable cockpit for those of you preferring
the shade as you sail in the warm breezes and crystal clear
waters of the Caribbean Sea. Spend one and a half hours
snorkeling and exploring beautiful coral reefs filled with tropical
fish, sea animals and turtles.
The wartime shipwreck of the "Catanza C" lies 25' below the
surface and is home to a wide variety of sea life. The friendly,
experienced crew and instructors will provide all the assistance
that you need as they snorkel with you pointing out the wondrous
sights to be seen below. Enjoy complimentary tropical fruit punch
drinks, along with other refreshments such as beer, snacks, and
great music on your relaxing homeward sail back to your ship.

Kayak, Hike and Snorkel of Cas Cay

A short transfer by van will take you to the St. Thomas Mangrove
Wildlife Refuge and Marine Sanctuary where a truly unique
experience awaits you and your family! Kayak past many small
islands of the mangrove lagoon while viewing breathtaking
volcanic cliffs and the impressive Red Point geologic Blow Hole.
Hike through a Mangrove forest; along a scenic beach of
coral and shell rubble with views overlooking the Caribbean Sea,
Buck Island and French Cap in the distance.
Enjoy the excitement of a Hermit Crab Race or participate in a
Pirate's Treasure hunt for kids. Snorkel in the clear protected
waters of the coral-fringed mangrove lagoon and view a remnant
of a shipwreck teeming with colorful marine life. Try and spot
shy turtles, stingrays, starfish, conch, puffer fish, tropical birds and
lizards in their natural habitat. Watch for rays, barracudas
and perhaps a shy turtle on your return paddle. This is a beginner
snorkel and no experience is necessary, making this a
perfect excursion for families!

St. John Eco Hike

Enjoy a boat ride to beautiful St. John, known as the "Emerald of
The Caribbean" as over half of the island is part of the Virgin
Islands National Park. After disembarking, you will walk through
the charming town of Cruz Bay and proceed to the park
entrance and the Lind Point Trail. Gently ascend 250 feet to the
Lind Point Overlook for scenic views of St. John, St. Thomas
and the surrounding British Virgin Islands.
Along the trail, learn the history of the various inhabitants of St.
John (including Taino Indian, English, Spanish, Danish, African
and American), as well as informative Virgin Island National Park
history. On your slow descent towards magnificent Honeymoon
Beach, consistently recognized as one of the top ten in the world,
learn of the plant life surrounding you and its traditional and
modern medicinal usage.
From there, proceed to world-famous Caneel Bay Resort for a
botanical tour of the grounds and a visit to one of St. John's
famous Danish sugar plantation ruins, before boarding your taxi to
return to Cruz Bay. In this quaint town, take some time to
shop or to enjoy a refreshing drink or ice cream before boarding
the tour boat back to your ship.

St. John Beach and Snorkel Tour

Your narrated tour departs in a comfortable, large tour boat from
your cruise ship dock passing along the southeastern coast
line of St. Thomas where you will see some of the lovely beaches
and scenery of this island.
The island of St. John is an unspoiled paradise of white sand
beaches and lush National Park. You will be driven through the
natural beauty of the National Park, viewing and photographing
spectacular sights from the overlooks above Cruz Bay,
Hawksnest Bay and famous Caneel Bay Plantation, a hotel resort
developed by Laurence Rockefeller.
The highlight of this tour is a visit to Trunk Bay, rated by the
National Park as one of the ten most beautiful beaches in the
world, and here, you will have approximately 1 1/2 hours to swim,
snorkel or just relax on the beach. Snorkeling equipment and
instructions are provided (weather permitting) for those who wish
to explore the underwater, marked trails of colorful coral and
tropical fish.
There is a beach concession at Trunk Bay where you are able to
purchase light refreshments such as sodas, beers, hotdogs,
hamburgers and chips.
Note: Trunk Bay is occasionally subject to sea swells and should
this happen snorkeling may be cancelled with your safety in

Champagne Sunset Harbour Cruise

snorkel, swim and explore among fantastic coral formations and
many colorful tropical fish. Accompany curious Turtles as they
glide alongside you during this up to 1 1/2 hour in-water

Mahogany Run Golf Course

Tom and George Fazio designed this outstanding course that
winds along the coast, covered by the stately trees that give it
its name. This is the tightest golfing layout you will find anywhere.
Views of the water are startling, and holes like number 13,
14 and 15, the famous Devil's Triangle are postcard perfect. They
are also treacherous with slippery greens and nasty roughs.
Price includes green fees, transportation and shared golf cart. For
special group requests, please be advised that a set up fee
will be charged. The fee is approximately $4.50 per person. Prices
are not part of the golf package and are subject to change at
anytime. Payable at the golf course only.
Pirate Duck Adventure

You will board the "Duckaneer", a 2007, 48 passenger state of the
art amphibious bus/boat. It starts with a land tour of St.
Thomas down by Crown Bay marina, Lindbergh Bay and the
airport area, then back through French town and into the water
you become a boat. You will go on a complete harbor tour of St.
Thomas, cruise by hassel island and water island, the harbor
front and then back out of the water at French town boat ramp
when you become a bus again. Then back to the Pirate Duck
adventure location where you will disembark and will be taken
back to the cruise ship or downtown for shopping.
Tortola Dolphin Swim & Island

Experience the Thrill of the Dolphin Discovery Swim in Tortola!
Guests will walk to the Fast Ferry with a crew member for a one
hour maritime transfer. Guests will be divided into groups and will
view both US Virgin Islands and British Virgin Islands as
they ferry past St Thomas, St Johns and various other island
before arriving to Tortola. Next, you pass through Immigration in
the British Virgin Islands with your passport.
The group will be divided so one part will go directly to the Island
tour and the other to the Dolphin Discovery Swim! The Island tour
will take you up Ridge Road to Sky World with a breath taking view
of the surrounding isles. After this amazing experience it is off to
Dolphin Discovery Tortola for the highlight of the day, the
Dolphin Discovery Swim! The Swim allows both young and old to
kiss, pet and interact with the dolphin on a submerged
platform and venture out into the deeper water for more fun! Enjoy
30 minutes in the water with the dolphins.
A buffet style lunch will be available during your time at Dolphin
Discovery Tortola which includes hamburgers, pasta, fries and
salad.
Photos and a DVD of your dolphin program will be available for
purchase after your program. Then it is off to the ferry dock in
Tortola for your return trip to St Thomas. Arriving to St Thomas
guests will off-load and go through Immigration at Charlotte
Amalie for approximately 30 minutes and then re-board the ferry
for a quick transfer back to Yacht Haven Grande where
shopping is available and it is a 10 minute walk back to the ship!
Please Note: Guests spend approximately 30 minutes in the water
with the dolphins. Expectant mothers may not participate on
this excursion. Minimum age to participate 3 years. Guests under
12 years of age must be accompanied by an adult in the
water. Guests are required to pass through Immigration and must
