ALASKA SEA LIFE CENTER & TROLLEY TOUR
Step aboard a classic trolley car and learn about Seward's
colorful past and present on the way to Alaska's premier
marine science facility - the Alaska SeaLife Center. You will
wonder "who's watching who" as you experience up-close
encounters with Stellar sea lions, harbor seals, puffins and
other unique sea birds. Trained naturalists will conduct a
group orientation to get you started, and then be available to
offer information and assistance as you take a self-guided
tour through this exceptional facility, built specifically for
research and education. Interactive exhibits and touch tanks
allow for personal encounters with a variety of local intertidal
creatures. After your tour of the Center, rejoin your trolley
conductor and continue your tour of Seward as you return to
the ship aboard this vintage style trolley.

RESURRECTION BAY WILDLIFE CRUISE
View alpine glaciers amidst a backdrop of the Chugach and
Kenai mountain ranges while cruising the protected waters of
Resurrection Bay. Watch for Humpback whales, Stellar sea
lions, Dall's porpoise, harbor porpoise, Orca (killer whales),
harbor seals, sea otters, bald eagles, puffins and many other
types of marine birds. This tour is approximately fifty miles
round trip, and is fully narrated by local, experienced captain
and crew. Complimentary binoculars are provided for
everyone's use. A snack of fruit, cheese and locally baked
bagel, cookie and beverage is included.

RESURRECTION RIVER FLOAT TRIP
Piloted by expert oarsmen you will be treated to a relaxing
float down Resurrenction River. The trip begins near the
base of Ecit Glacier where you wil board 8 person rafts and
begin your eight mile journey down the Resurrection River.
Let your senses take in the expansive views of the
Resurrection Valley seen from the river. This rafting
maximizes your opportunities to experience Alaska. There is
no whitewater on this trip. The minimum age to participage is
6 years old.

SEWARD TOWN TOUR & EXIT GLACIER
Learn the history of Seward along with true personal stories
of life in the last frontier as your local driver/guide points out
places of interest during narrated tour. Scout out the area
onboard a school bus during a drive from the dock, through
the boat harbor, downtown, and then along the 12 mile drive
up the Resurrection Valley to Exit Glacier in the Kenai Fjords
National Park. This small coastal fishing community on the
Kenai Peninsula was discovered in 1791 by Russian fur
trader, Alexander Baranov, and was the southern terminus
for the Alaska Railroad in 1903.

Visit Exit Glacier, part of Kenai Fjords National Park and one
of the most accessible glaciers by foot in south central
Alaska. An approximate 0.5 mile walk brings you to the
glacier's deep blue crevasses, ice melt streams and
panoramic views. Visit the nature center or explore trails
leading to photo opportunities before your return drive to the
cruise ship pier.

Warm layer clothing, gloves, hat and comfortable walking
shoes are recommended.

WILDERNESS DOG SLED RIDE
Visit the Seavey Homestead in Seward, home of 2004
Iditarod champion Mitch Seavey. Tour the racing kennel,
experience a two-mile summer dog sled ride on a wheeled
sled, cuddle adorable husky puppies, learn about the
Iditarod and laugh at tales from the trail. Tours are guided by
Iditarod mushers, and are sure be a highlight for guests of all
ages and abilities.
