ATV Jungle & Beach Adventure

Enjoy the natural beauty and undeniable magic of hidden Mexico
in one of our Single Driver All Terrain Vehicles. As you head
out from the Town of Costa Maya and wind your way through the
jungles and beaches of the Yucatan Peninsula. Following a
short instruction and driving course, hop on your one person ATV
and after a short ride get off the road and into the jungle
trails, enjoy this ride trough the winding, narrow jungle paths full
of tropical vegetation, then head on to the coastal line and
visit a nice and secluded beach, where you can relax and swim
for a while before you continue your way back to your ships
pier. You don't want to miss this opportunity to make memories
that will last a lifetime. A complimentary bottle of water
included.
Please note: Guests should bring valid driver license, towels,
bathing suits, sunscreen sunglasses and wear light comfortable
clothing, long pants and closed toe shoes, at least sneakers (NO
sandals permitted). Vehicles are single person ATV's - 4
wheel All Terrain Vehicles, 250cc Yamaha. A release form for the
use of vehicles will be signed before driving the vehicle.
Minimum age is 16 years old with valid driver's license or permit.
Maximum weight limit on vehicles is 350 lbs. Expectant
mothers are not allowed to participate. The tour is perfect for
beginners to advanced riders. The off-road is very bumpy and
uneven, and can be very dusty and/or muddy (helmet and
goggles must be worn at all times when on ATVs). This is an ATV
adventure. The trails and paths can be narrow and rough, over
loose stones, packed dirt, mud and more.
Beach Power Snorkel

You will be greeted at the pier by your guide and taken on a short
ride to one of Costa Maya's best dive and snorkel sites. Then it's
off with your guide to enjoy the incredible views lying just below
the surface. Skim near the surface faster than you can swim and
dive down to take a closer look. Your Aqua Scooter glides you
along on your guided tour past sea fans, coral and an array of
amazing marine life. After a great experience enjoy free time at
this nice and secluded beach, playing volleyball, beach combing
or just relaxing under the sun for a nice tan.
Provided equipment includes snorkel gear (vest, snorkel, mask,
fins) and Aqua Scooter.
Minimum age to participate is 12 years old. Guests under 18
must be accompanied by an adult. Maximum weight limit is 240
pounds. Sun protection, swim suit, towel and change of clothes
are advised.
Coral Reef Snorkel by Boat

Explore the crystal clear waters that have made this area a
pristine dive destination! Pass through the small fishing village of
Majahual in a taxi or van on your way to the pier where your
snorkel vessel and your certified Dive master with his snorkel
guide team are awaiting. During the boat ride to the snorkel site,
you will be provided with the proper snorkeling equipment and
given in-depth instructions on snorkeling procedures and how to
use the gear to get the best, safe experience. From the water's
surface, view the abundant marine life, various variety of coral,
sponges, caves, tunnels and multicolored tropical fish that are all
part of the second largest barrier coral reef in the world.
Note: Minimum age to participate is 10 years old. It is advised to
bring plenty of sun protection, your swimsuit and a towel.
Discover Scuba Diving & Beach Experience

DURATION: 4 Hours Approx.
This excursion is for first-time or non-certified divers who want to
experience the wonders of scuba diving in one of the most
beautiful dive destinations in the Caribbean. Your excursion
begins from the pier with a short ride through the town of
Mahahual to an eco friendly dive center.
Here you will be fitted with scuba gear and given an introductory
lesson to scuba diving. You will then practice your newly acquired
skills in shallow water before taking a short boat ride to one of
our many beautiful dive sites. Your instructor will then take you on
a guided dive of the spectacular Meso-American Barrier reef. This
particular area of the reef is known for its healthy and pristine
corals and breathtaking reef formations that form massive
ledges. Common marine life experienced on these dives include
turtles, lobsters, stingrays, eels, king crabs, barracuda, and
dolphin as well as a variety of tropical reef fish such as damsels,
butterfly fish, pork fish, parrot fish, schools of Creole wrasse
and blue tangs. This is the newest dive destination in the
Caribbean.
As if the diving wasn't enough, after your dive excursion you may
choose to return to the ship or stay and experience the local
culture and beautiful beaches of Mahahual. Once a fishing
village, Mahahual is now a small town thriving with wonderful
beachfront shops, restaurants, bars, arts and crafts booths, and
more. Whether you are interested in diving, shopping, great
food, water sport activities or a relaxing massage on the beach,
Mahahual has it. If you choose to stay in Mahahual after the
dive excursion, you will be responsible for transportation back to
the ship so please be aware of all-aboard ship time. Taxis are
abundant and will gladly return you to the ship.
Snuba Adventure

After a 50 minute Kodiak bus ride you will arrive to a very nice and
private sandy beach, one of the best in this area. You will take a
brief class on how you can enjoy the underwater breathing
experience of Snuba Diving: a magnificent underwater
experience with the simplicity of Snorkeling but with out the heavy
load of Scuba. This experience is special for those who
enjoy snorkeling and wish to go one step forward, without feeling
the pressure of heavy equipment and too much theory.
After/Before your magnificent experience you can enjoy the beach,
relax, play volleyball and snorkel for a while under the
Caribbean sun.
